Our Story
Janine Kurnoff, principal and founder, was in her MBA program at the Monterey Institute of International Studies when she noticed classmates struggling to communicate ideas using PowerPoint. Her classmates and professors noted in contrast that Janine developed presentations that were clear, engaging and well-received. She then was requested to develop a class to share her approach.
After graduation, Janine went on to work for Yahoo! in international sales and marketing. Observing a presentation skills gap after numerous requests by executives and peers to transform their presentations, Janine began hosting Lunch and Learn sessions to help Yahoo! communicate more effectively in PowerPoint. The class was an instant success and word spread fast.
In 2001, Janine founded The Presentation Company and began helping some of the world’s top brands create visual messages with PowerPoint. In 2004, The Presentation Company became early adopters of online learning platforms and began delivering courses worldwide. Today, The Presentation Company offers its expertise via a comprehensive suite of learning solutions and personalized services to customers all over the world.
